In April 2024 aircraft maintenance digital tooling management solution MROTools.io reached one million tool transactions. MROTools.io is the only web application dedicated to tooling management for the airline industry. It provides all the features for daily interaction and management of tooling to all stakeholders in a user-friendly mobile format.
In 2019 QOCO invented the world's first (and still only) digital tool-tracking application MROtools.io. This was implemented at Finnair for user testing and product adjustments to ensure we had real user experience and control of the engineering tooling environment. Since then, this solution has been deployed at some of the worlds leading operational environments such as, Delta (Endeavor Air), KLM (Regional Jet Center), Safran (Safran Aircraft Engine Services), Finnair and Widerøe.
“We are extremely happy to announce this valuable milestone in the history of QOCO Systems”, says QOCO System’s CCO Andy Graham. “It shows the solution provides real value for customers and that the utilisation rates are high”, Graham continues, adding “We can’t wait to announce the 2 million landmark”.
MROTools.io is designed to solve all the problems that a maintenance organisation encounters when managing tooling equipment. Depending on the size and methods used the problems range from losing tools to FOD incidents. Incidents that have been on the front page in recent months, including this rogue screwdriver part that caused an Airbus A320 engine fire. The cases are many and unfortunate but thankfully there are solutions such as MROTools.io that minimises accidents like this.
