QOCO Systems and Rolls-Royce announce a significant expansion to QOCO’s intelligent data service. Delivered through QOCO’s Aviadex platform, the service feeds broad, real-time airline operator data directly to Rolls-Royce systems, helping maximise engine uptime through improvements in its reliability and maintenance operations.
The latest scope increase brings tens of additional operators onto QOCO's platform, with the intent to cover the entire operational modern Trent fleet, and to extend the service to legacy engine types. Rolls-Royce's Trent engine family is the world’s dominant long-haul engine franchise, powering every Airbus A350, every Airbus A330 neo, and a significant portion of Boeing 787s worldwide.
The service is at the core of Rolls-Royce's industry-leading strategy to push the boundaries of digital technology in aftermarket services. Combining seamless data exchange, with its own advanced analytics and optimisation capabilities, Rolls-Royce can further improve engine reliability, troubleshooting, and overhaul turnaround times, while expanding and improving value-adding digital services to its customers.
Today, QOCO's service supports the majority of Rolls-Royce's operational modern Trent fleet, as measured by both operators onboarded and by engine volume with 40+ operators live and tens of operators in the pipeline. At the core of the solution is the reliable, accurate, and timely data consolidated from dispersed sources across the airline operator network combined with the highest quality of data management required by the critical processes relying on that data.
QOCO has been Rolls-Royce's digitalisation partner since 2018 when QOCO began supporting Rolls-Royce's "Blue Data Thread" digitalisation programme and its "Intelligent Engine" vision. By automating and standardising data exchange, QOCO helps reduce integration effort and improve transparency for carriers.
