What initially attracted you to work at QOCO, and how did you find the company culture and values aligned with your own?

What initially drew me towards QOCO was the MROTool.io project, which presented a fascinating and impactful opportunity. The prospect of contributing to diverse projects aligned perfectly with my desire for versatility, and QOCO's commitment to investing in employee development reflected a shared dedication to continuous growth.

Upon joining, I found a workplace culture that surpassed my expectations. Can you share a memorable project or achievement during your time at QOCO that you are particularly proud of?

One particularly memorable project during my tenure at QOCO was the MROTools.io project, where I played a pivotal role in the development of end-to-end features using a powerful stack of AWS services, MySQL, Redis, and React. This project was a significant achievement, not only in terms of successfully implementing new features but also in ensuring the highest quality of the application through rigorous testing. The comprehensive approach we took guaranteed the reliability and robustness of our features, ultimately enhancing the overall end-user experience.  

What makes this project even more special is the strong connections I established with everyone at QOCO. The collaborative spirit extended beyond my immediate team, fostering good relationships with colleagues across departments, including customer success, continuous services, Aviadex.io, and the AI teams. These connections not only contributed to the project's success but also created a positive and collaborative work environment at QOCO that I am particularly proud to be a part of.

How would you describe the work environment and team dynamics at QOCO? What makes it unique or special?

At QOCO, the work environment is highly collaborative and constantly evolving. Teams communicate openly and share a strong commitment to achieving excellence in their work. What sets this workplace apart is the collective drive to achieve our goals together. What kind of professional growth and development opportunities have you experienced while working at QOCO?

I have had the opportunity to experience QOCO's emphasis on professional development while working on the MROTools.io project. Through this project, I have become proficient in a variety of technologies, including AWS services, databases, frontend development, and testing methodologies. The company's investment in training and exposure to innovative technologies has significantly enhanced my skill set.

In my opinion, despite the rapid digitization of the aviation industry, there are still a lot of manual processes that could be automated. As someone who has always been passionate about streamlining processes, I find myself drawn to the work that QOCO is doing. At QOCO, we are dedicated to improving the manual processes still used in the aviation industry through innovative solutions. I am convinced that by working here, I have the chance to be part of a team that is making a real difference in this industry.
