Martin Blaze has been in the aviation industry for nearly 50 years. He started as an undergraduate apprentice with British Aircraft Corporation, qualifying as a production mechanical engineer. Prior to his retirement in 2018, Martin was the Aircraft Maintenance & Support Director of the Military Air & Information business of BAE Systems. He was responsible for the operational management of all global Aircraft Maintenance and Support activities and the development and delivery of support capabilities into the business. Martin was also leading innovation and digitalization roles at BAE Systems. In addition, he is experienced in setting up Global customer care platforms for continued maintenance programs and support.

Martin is a professional pilot and flies "Spitfires" (World War II aircraft). Though retired, he still spends a lot of time in the air.

"I love flying and everything associated with the aircraft's engineering and aerodynamics. I also find it very challenging because technologically, flying is on the top of the food chain except for space."- says Martin.

Martin learned about QOCO from another Advisory Board member and realized how much value QOCO can bring to the aviation industry. As an Advisory Board member, he will bring all his experience and knowledge to support the leadership team in developing and prosecuting QOCO's strategy and vision.

"Aviation industry is going through a huge change, particularly brought by current market dynamics and the recent pandemic. As the world is changing and expectations for the aviation industry are changing too, QOCO’s products reflect market transformation and can bring value-added opportunities for aviation. I see those changes as a huge opportunity for QOCO."

"QOCO is incredibly fortunate to have the advice and guidance of such a high-caliber person as we have in Martin Blaze. Martin brings to our executive leadership and Board of Directors over 49 years of aerospace executive management knowledge and experience. When QOCO approached Martin to seek his interest in joining us, he was instantly drawn to our uniqueness in the industry and how he could transfer his knowledge bank to QOCO for us to be best placed within our market segments within the OEMs, MROs, Airlines and Military operational environments. Martin's advice has been genuinely inspiring thus far, and we are very excited about how we will develop our relationship going forward. We thank Martin for his trust in QOCO and for helping to guide our Board and Leadership Team to perform towards the highest standards our customers expect." - Andy Graham, Chief Commercial Officer and Partner at QOCO Systems Ltd.
